Lazo-Flores explores the creative intersections of art, design, and architecture through illustration, digital photography, product design and exhibition projects. Parallel to her programmatic approach to art and design education which captures the cross-over of academia and industry; her attitude to the creative process exposes a muted discourse of art and poetry, the constant disclosure of elements that pose both gestural and controlled strokes, and the compositional play of dark and light hues.
Her recent visual works construe various narratives of time and place, documenting the many dialogues of quietude during one’s personal interaction with nature and the built environment.
